Privacy policy

What Orbit stores

• Your account: name, email address, a securely hashed password and your sign-in sessions.
• What you and your collaborators create: projects, tasks, checklists, comments, attachments, budgets and vendors.
• A log of changes to projects and tasks, shown as their history.

Orbit has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.

Google Tasks (optional)

If you choose to connect Google Tasks, Orbit asks Google for your basic account identity and access to Google Tasks, and uses them only to:

• show which Google account is connected (your Google email address);
• list your task lists so you can choose where Orbit's tasks go;
• create, update, complete and remove copies of the Orbit tasks assigned to you in that list (title, due date, project, priority, status and a link back to Orbit).

Orbit does not read your other Google tasks, does not use Google data for advertising, and does not sell or share it. Access credentials are stored encrypted. Disconnecting in Orbit's Integrations page revokes Orbit's access at Google and deletes the stored credentials; you can also remove access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.

Orbit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see your data

Projects are private unless you share them. People you invite to a project see that project only. Orbit runs on Vercel (application hosting and file storage) and Turso (database), hosted in Mumbai, India, and sends notification emails through an email delivery provider. These providers process data only to run the service.

Keeping and deleting data

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete tasks, comments and projects yourself. To delete your account and everything in it, email shubhankarsengupta1@gmail.com.
